Stylish, comfortable and situated on one of the prettiest streets of Palermo Viejo, Legado Mitico is a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary design features. Great attention has been paid to the artwork, furniture and design touches, with hardwood floors, natural cow hides and leathers, Indian textiles and plush cushions adorning the spaces.
Each of the 11 guest rooms has been uniquely themed around famous cultural and historical Argentinean icons: Che Guevara, Evita Peron and Carlos Gardel to name but a few. Rooms have spacious bathrooms, king-size beds and a full range of contemporary facilities. There is a friendly, convivial atmosphere, as if you are staying at a cultured friend's home and you are invited to kick your feet up in the shared garden and lounge areas. There are plenty of comfortable relaxing areas, including an excellent library on the lower floor where breakfast is served.
Legado Mitico makes a superb and effortless base while in Buenos Aires and doesn't try too hard to be cool, offering an exclusive and charming setting in which to learn about Argentine culture. It works well for independent travellers and is a bit of a home from home.
