Itinerary

Fly to Split
Day 1-3

Split, Croatia

Perched on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, you'll start this wonderful journey in the ancient town of Split. You will be spending two nights at the charming retreat of Judita Palace, an eclectic mix of styles in its architecture, from Roman to Gothic and Renaissance. The wooden shutters complement the stone walls, reminding you of the tradition and history of the building and the city. Located within the walls of Diocletian's Palace, in the heart of Split's old town, you will spend time exploring the winding alleys and cobbled streets of the city with your expert private guide.

Famous for its varied history and Roman architecture, Split is the perfect place to soak up a sense of Croatia's past and its vibrant culture. In the evening, wander down to the Riva waterfront and join the locals for a drink in this lively stretch of bars and restaurants, and take in the wonderful sea views. Here you are perfectly located to then continue your trip to the neighbouring islands of Brac and Hvar.

Accommodation: Judita Palace ( 2 nights )
Day 3-6

Brac, Croatia

After your stay in Split you will be taken by ferry to the beautiful island of Brac, where you’ll spend three nights exploring the island. Home to mountains, pine forests and peaceful coastal villages, Brac is Dalmatia's largest island, and a picturesque haven just one hour from mainland Croatia. The pine forests are peppered with quaint fishing villages, and the island plays host to olive groves and vineyards, producing some of Croatia's best wines. You will stay three nights at the Hotel Lemongarden, an adult-only property and a hidden gem of relaxation on the island.  Unwind by the stunning pool or head to their private pebble beach just 10 minutes from the hotel, located in a secluded bay surrounded by pine forests.

Brac island is steeped in history, take some time to explore the rugged coastline and historic towns as your private guide shares stories of the region's myths and legends. Medieval forts, hidden caves and abandoned monasteries are just a handful of what the island has to offer. A combination of walking and off-road adventure takes you off the beaten track to discover authentic island culture.
Accommodation: Hotel Lemongarden ( 3 nights )
Day 6-9

Hvar, Croatia

From Brac, take the ferry south to the island of Hvar to spend your next few days relaxing and soaking up the local culture. The pretty central harbour is incredibly popular during the summer months, and with good reason, however it is the little-explored interior of the island that is arguably the most beautiful, with lavender fields, peaceful villages, rolling vineyards and pine-covered hills.  You will enjoy a divine stay at Palace Elisabeth, an elegant hotel built on the foundations of a 13th century palace and overlooking the bustling old town, the glistening water of Hvar Bay, and its myriad of tiny islets.

Explore the hidden corners of beautiful Hvar by car, foot or bicycle. Hvar is becoming particularly well-known for its wines and a tour of the local vineyards is highly recommended, while foodies will love the opportunity to enjoy a traditional lunch cooked over an open fire in a hidden village, high in the hills overlooking the azure sea.  Explore Vis and Biševo islands' hidden inlets, caves, and beaches with your local skipper. Discover the spectacular Blue Cave on the island of Biševo with its local wildlife and natural beaches before venturing to the unspoiled island of Vis, renowned for its blue waters, ancient architecture and cultural heritage. Here you can take time to snorkel, swim and relax on one of the island's beaches before heading to Komiža town, known for the Renaissance tower, today home to the local fishing museum. Your crew will recommend a lovely local tavern for lunch.

Accommodation: Palace Elisabeth ( 3 nights )
Day 9-13

Dubrovnik, Croatia

For your final leg of this spectacular journey you will head back to the mainland to Dubrovnik, the jewel in the crown of the Dalmatian coast and a fitting place to finish your journey through this stunning region. The magnificent city walls surround marble streets and baroque buildings that exude an almost ethereal light in the Adriatic sun. Churches, monasteries and museums ornamented with finely carved stone recall an eventful history and a vibrant artistic tradition. Situated just a 5-minute walk to Dubrovnik Old Town, the Hotel Excelsior offers stylish, elegant accommodation with stunning vistas of the island of Lokrum and Dubrovnik Old Town.  With its location right on the water’s edge, there is a lovely terrace with sun-loungers and direct access into the sea along with an indoor pool and a beautiful spa. From here, take time to wander the waterfront and seek out divine seafront tavernas to soak up the stunning views over a delicious lunch.

There is plenty to keep you entertained in this fascinating city and your private guide will help bring Dubrovnik to life with a guided tour of the Old Town.  Soak up the cobbled streets lined with traditional churches and admire the stories behind this quintessential walled city, you will be amazed by the saturation of rich history and culture in this area. If you do want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, the stunning Elaphiti islands are just a short boat trip away, or the spectacular Mljet National Park is the perfect place to discover Croatia’s natural beauty.
