There is a tea-tasting session every evening to taste various varieties of tea available in Munnar including Premium Leaf Tea, Dust Tea, Organic Tea, Orthodox Tea, Oolong Tea, White Tea, Flavoured Teas, Heritage Tea, and several types of green tea.

There are treks available with guides as well as a walk through the Shola forest which is self guided and within the property.
The property's 66 acres are replete with stretches of preserved wilderness, cardamom plantations, trickling streams, rocky formations, wild plants and endemic species of butterflies and birds. The 26 stilted cottages at Tall Trees are carefully designed and positioned to ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding ecosystem as well as maximum privacy for guests. They are furnished in a traditional Keralan style, combining rustic elements with modern and comfortable living, and include a balcony for guests to sit and listen to the sounds of the surrounding ecosystem.
There are two restaurants at The Tall Trees. Hill Spice offers popular Indian and Continental delicacies, and the Nature restaurant consists of thatched-roof open huts close to the canopy of branches, where guests can enjoy delicious food whilst gazing up to the starry skies above and enjoy a cool breeze. There is also a library, a children's park and an Ayurveda Spa, ensuring all guests are catered for.
The Tall Trees is perfect for those wishing to get out and about in nature. There are both short and long treks offered from the property through forestlands, plantations, meadow lands and rocky streams. There are also options to enjoy campfires, barbecues and other more adventurous activities. After a busy day exploring the lush surroundings, the property offers a fantastic view of the sun setting behind the rolling surrounding hills.
