Spanning 16 acres, The Marlborough Lodge is located in the heart of the famous Marlborough wine region. With just 10 suites, this homely country estate is surrounded by secluded parklands, an idyllic escape to the country.

Spend your time here relaxing at the lodge or enjoying some fresh air exploring the great outdoors. Steeped in history with a refreshing contemporary vibe, the lodge has a cosy and luxurious feel. Each suite reveals the history of the lodge, dating back to 1901 when it was a Victorian Convent. Enjoy your own private haven in one of the elegant suites with spacious en suite bathrooms and balconies to take in the views.

The Marlborough Lodge is ideal for those wanting the ultimate retreat to indulge in New Zealand’s gourmet province. The Marlborough Lodge can be found in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Located just 10-minutes drive from Blenheim township, 90-minutes from Nelson and 4-hours from Christchurch, it sits in the north east of the South Island.

There’s an airport in Blenheim served by regional flights. The Marlborough Lodge is just half an hour’s drive away if you are arriving from the ferry from the North Island. Kaikoura to the south is around a two hour drive away. Alternatively, helicopter transfers from Nelson, Wellington or any other location at the top of the South Island or bottom of the North Island can be arranged.
