White Desert Whichaway Camp is a unique camp set within the interior of Antarctica. After a five-hour flight across the Southern Ocean, you will be transported to another world. A luxurious and ecological camp set in one of the last great wildernesses on earth.
Touchdown down in Antarctica and then transfer to your luxury eco camp by a 30-minute flights - all emissions from flights to, from and whilst on the continent, are offset by fully accredited carbon-neutral schemes
Whichaway Camp is a camp like no other, the perfect base for your Antarctic adventure. Spacious state-of-the-art sleeping pods are designed for two people and just over 6m (20ft) in diameter and feature a wash area and toilet. Separate to the ‘sleeping pod’ there is a communal shower pod, kitchen, where the award-winning chef prepares mouth-watering meals, a comfortable lounge area.
Activities can be as easy and gentle or adventurous and adrenaline-fuelled. Learn to rock climb on a nearby ‘Nunatak’ mountain. or explore the Schirmacher Oasis – a rare stretch of terra firma surrounded by the ice cap of Antarctica. Visit a research base and learn all about ongoing scientific explorations.
