Lamanai Outpost Lodge is situated on the banks of a 28-mile long spring fed lagoon amid the remnants of a major Maya city. The lodge is surrounded by an incredible variety of habitats that facilitate unsurpassed nature based and soft adventure activities that depart right from your cabana’s doorstep without the need for day-trips.

Embark on a night crocodile-encounter aboard a Florida style air boat; experience a tropical breakfast on a jungle river, explore a long abandoned Maya city or simply relax in a hammock overlooking a spring fed lagoon - all within walking distance of the lodge. Lamanai Outpost Lodge is committed to providing the highest quality of nature experience. On average, each activity departs with only 4-6 guests. The area is home to fascinating flora and fauna including 375 species of birds in a variety of habitats from vast wetlands to broadleaf forest to pine savannah.

The lodge has an open air restaurant and bar with panoramic views of the New River Lagoon, the ever-changing garden and the Maya ruins of Lamanai. There is also a reference library and lounge area to relax after a busy day exploring the area.
