The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May to October are particularly pleasurable months.

Day 1-4

Gerolimenas, The Peloponnese, Greece

Your Grecian getaway begins in the stunning Mani Peninsula at Kyrimai Hotel, a boutique retreat housed in stone buildings typical of the Mani region. Thanks to strict preservation laws this region is practically untouched, and its traditional architecture still dominates the landscape. Crumbling towers are scattered throughout the hills and Byzantine churches are hidden around every corner, while the natural beauty of the area is simply outstanding. Spend your time relaxing and dipping into the water from your hotel, or venture out hiking along the coastline and explore this mysterious region.

Day 4-7

Monemvasia, Peloponnese

Continue east to the neighbouring peninsula, where you'll find the idyllic estate of Kinsterna Hotel & Spa, set on a hilltop overlooking the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea. An historical mansion dating all the way back to the Byzantine era, Kinsterna has been carefully restored to provide all modern comforts, while ancient traditions such as grape crushing and olive oil production are still carried out at the hotel to this day.

In between relaxing by the pool or visits to the spa, visit nearby Monemvasia with your private guide and discover this unique island, with a medieval walled town nestled under its dramatic rock face.
