Anouvong River Boat Day 2 - The Thai Day
Today you will enjoy a delicious array of Thai cuisine as you carry on your journey upriver. With fascinating visits to local traditional villages, organic farming life, an intriguing lecture on board finishing with drinks as you watch the sunset.
For those who don’t mind an early start, the early morning yoga session is there for you ready to welcome in the day. Followed by a wholesome freshly prepared breakfast as you set sail for the days adventure.
Your first stop will be for a leisurely walk around the charming local village inhabited by ethnic Khmu with its unique characteristics. On board, you will be treated to the Anouvong’s themed lunch a relaxed affair as you meander up the river taking in the beautiful scenery. Your next stop will be at the tiny local village of Khok Aek, where the local farmers grow their organic vegetables.
Back on board you are invited to another fascinating lecture by the ship's expert guide on the day’s Thai motto. After some downtime, you can reconvene for a sunset happy hour cocktail and a delicious Thai-themed dinner.
