The last word in luxury with an opulent Moorish style
Extensive and beautifully maintained gardens give the hotel a peaceful ambience, despite being located in the Old City
Within walking distance to the medina, Koutoubia Mosque and Djemaa el-Fna Square
A choice of four restaurants and five bars including The Churchill Bar, named after one of the hotel's most famous guests
Located in the centre of Marrakech, La Mamounia is within walking distance of the famous Djemma el-Fna square and is close to the iconic Koutoubia Mosque. Despite its proximity to the medina, guests will feel a million miles from the busy streets of the Old City thanks to the hotel's tranquil gardens.
In-keeping with the riad's ornate decoration, the rooms at La Mamounia are Moroccan in design, complete with zellige tilework and hints of Art Deco style throughout. Marble bathrooms are the utmost in luxury and plush furnishings offer the highest levels of comfort. Many of the spacious rooms have a private terrace or balcony, while the exclusive three-bedroom private riads have their own pools.
There are four restaurants at La Mamounia, each of which serves dishes using fresh ingredients from the hotel's organic vegetable garden. Le Français is the most formal, offering gourmet French cuisine, while L'Italien is more atmospheric and its menu comes courtesy of two-Michelin-starred chef Don Alfonso. Le Marocain serves fantastic local delicacies with a contemporary twist and finally Le Pavilion de la Piscine offers pool-side lunches and delectable evening cocktails.
The twenty acres of lush walled gardens, fragrant flowers, shrubs, olive and orange trees are a popular choice for relaxing walks for both residents and visitors alike. Guests looking to relax can unwind in La Mamounia's fantastic spa with a selection of revitalising treatments after a day exploring the winding streets of the medina.
