Known for both its exceptional service and hospitality, the resort has also won several awards for expertise in customising wildlife experiences for guests, as well as for its sustainability and eco-sensitive policies and practices.

The accommodation is dotted throughout the resort in 18 single and 8 duplex thatched cottages, all of which enjoy private verandas and balconies from which to enjoy the atmospheric scenery. Each guest is assigned a personal and knowledgeable naturalist guide for jungle walks and safaris, as well as boat trips. Activities include a day-long trek to a waterfall in the heart of the jungle, a flame-lit bush dinner, a stroll around the local villages and a chance to meet the Tharu tribe. There are also nightly dance performances, jugglers, and fire eaters providing local entertainment.
