Located only 30 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland (or 5 minutes by helicopter), the design of Delamore Lodge is inspired by the Mediterranean and is shaped like a Maori fish hook, with stunning panoramic views over the traditional fishing grounds of Owhanake Beach out to the Pacific Ocean.

Each of the four guest suites has a private patio and panoramic views, even from the bath. Organic spa treatments (some developed on Waiheke Island) can be arranged in the purpose built spa suite, to relax and revive after a day exploring this stunning island and its bounty. The chefs here at Delamore delight in the superb local produce, from Helio stone-oven breads, Rangihoua olive oil and oysters from Te Matukua Bay, to fish straight from the boat and fantastic meat from the local butcher.

Delamore Lodge offers a spacious guest lounge, central courtyard with a sweeping stairway linking the tropical rockpool and waterfall, a deep, cave-like Jacuzzi, a sauna, wellbeing centre and a wine cellar stocked with the very best selection from 30 local vineyards and New Zealand’s regional best. The courtyard then cascades into the striking, Italian-style fireplace and outdoor dining area. Delamore’s infinity pool leads up to a superb all-weather pavilion named the Wharenui, with 180-degree cliff top views of the South Pacific.
