Canvas Club brings a new level of luxury to private camping in Oman. The bedroom tents are spacious, with comfortable proper beds made up with luxurious linen. There is wonderful attention to detail in the decor, with ornate rugs, lanterns and cushions adorning the interior.
There is a separate bathroom tent. A sophisticated system allows guests to enjoy hot water showers, and there is also a wash basin which provides running water via a foot pump. There is a camping loo with a chemical flush system and the floor is lined with wooden tiles for that extra element of comfort.
The main tent, known as the majlis, is lined with beautiful Arabian designed cushions. This is the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink and a game of cards after a day's adventures. The camp cannot provide alcohol, but guests are welcome to bring their own which can be cooled and served.
The camp has its own chef who will prepare delicious evening meals which can be served in the majlis, or on tables under the stars. There is also a camp manager on hand should guests require anything.
During the day, a private driver/guide will be able to take guests to sites of interest in the surrounding area, such as traditional villages, or lush green wadis on the edge of the desert. The camp can provide packed lunches if required.
