Hacienda Concepción in Peru's Southern Amazon is nestled within more than 2,000 acres of lush rainforest home to rich ecosystems, tropical plants and wildlife.
Spend 2, 3 or 4 nights on one of their special packages inclusive of meals and exciting excursions. You may be lucky to observe giant river otters, blue and yellow macaws, dusky titi monkeys, agoutis, two-toed sloth, peccaries, prehistoric-looking hoatzins and black caiman amongst other species. In addition to wildlife encounters, guests will also learn about the lodge's history, visit its botanical gardens featuring local medicinal plants, whilst the real highlight for most visitors are the towering canopy platforms and suspension bridges giving you a bird's eye view of the jungle.
Hacienda Concepción has five standard rooms in the main lodge, all comfortably furnished with ceiling fan and en suite bathrooms with hot water. The tropical gardens house 25 individual cabañas, built on stilts, offering more space and superior privacy, as well as views out towards the forest.
