Singita Castleton is an exclusive lodge set within 45,000 acres of private reserve. The house itself was originally the family home of Singita founder, Luke Bailes' grandfather. Due to its past, Singita Castleton retains the charm and ambience of an old family home with the exclusivity of a private safari lodge with added benefits such as the beautiful gardens, large swimming pool, tennis court, wine cellar, gym and a treatment room.

Castleton is situated in the privately owned Singita Sabi Sand Game Reserve which is known for its concentrations of big game and frequent leopard sightings, and with only two other Singita lodges in the reserve, guests are promised an exclusive safari experience. The Sabi Sand is adjacent to the Kruger National Park and these two areas make up some of South Africa's most spectacular wildlife and scenery.

Castleton has a dedicated team of staff including a private guide and tracker who both have extensive experience of the African bush and are very happy to take guests on game drives in the lodges private Land Rovers and walking safaris as often as they wish. The chef at Singita caters to all ages and dietary requirements, and also offer optional cooking or baking classes.

At Castleton, guests can relax together on the beautiful verandah or gather around the traditional ‘boma’, both of which overlook the watering hole, the individual cottages allow guests to retreat to the privacy of their own space as and when it is needed. Singita Castleton is the epitome of a luxury, safari experience that encapsulates a sense of complete exclusivity.
