Seoul, South Korea
  • Capture the essence of the city at this luxe hotel that seamlessly combines Seoul’s old-world tradition and future-forward vision.

  • Stretch out in spacious rooms with marble bathrooms, Korean accents, and commanding views across the city.

  • Travel back to 1920s Shanghai at Michelin-starred Yu Yuan where the signature Beijing Duck is not to be missed.

  • Find your inner calm at the tranquil spa offering a range of modern and traditional therapies.

The 29-storey Four Seasons Seoul is one of the city’s premier hotels. A beguiling mix of traditional style and contemporary design, the property also enjoys a privileged location in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun district, close to major highlights including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Gate and the delightful pedestrian walkway that flows through the city, Cheonggyecheon Stream.

The 317 generously sized rooms and suites boast clean contemporary lines, glorious views, Korean accents, Italian marble ensuite bathrooms with soaking tubs, rainforest shower and double vanity, as well as additional touches including fresh flowers, books, and ceramics to add style and character. Standard amenities include an iPad Mini for communicating with the rest of the hotel, Wi-Fi, TV with on-demand movies and Google Chromecast, air purifier, safety deposit box, minibar, kettle, and espresso machine. PlayStation and Xbox consoles are available on request.

Entry level Standard Rooms are large enough to have a residential vibe with plenty of space for a sofa and desk. Premier Family Rooms sleep up to two adults and two children or book a Grand Family Room to spread out in style. Club Rooms which sleep up to four offer complimentary access to the Executive Club Lounge for up to two guests, for express checkout, along with snacks, beverages, and wine throughout the day.

All suite accommodation includes a separate living room and comes with complimentary use of the Executive Club Lounge for two guests. Along with Executive Suite options, the Four Seasons has three speciality suites aimed at large families, groups of friends and those enjoying an extended stay. These are extremely spacious with separate living and sleeping areas and plenty of room to relax and unwind. Choose from one or two bedrooms or for maximum space, book the prestigious three-bedroom Presidential Suite.

The hotel has an impressive collection of bars and restaurants. Chief of these is the one Michelin star, Yu Yuan whose dining room echoes the décor and vibe of 1920s Shanghai, where Beijing Duck is the signature dish. Alternatively, Akira Black serves Japanese fusion cuisine in a striking setting; Boccalino specialises in classic Italian dishes; the Market Kitchen serves international flavours with live cooking stations and Maru delivers a limited selection of Korean cuisine, alongside international lounge meals and snacks. For contemporary bar bites and cocktails, Oul provides a swish environment, while for heady speakeasy atmosphere, head to Charles H. The hotel also has a bakery with a café serving exquisite patisserie, teas, and coffees.

The spa includes a Korean sauna featuring warm and hot baths, dry and wet sauna rooms, and a relaxation room, as well as treatment rooms and a nail bar. Guests can book traditional treatments, facials, and massage sessions. There are also three indoor pools, one of which is for children, an extensive fitness centre and Pilates studio, a barbershop, and children’s playroom.
