Olakira is a small, seasonal camp, located in the Serengeti National Park. Moving seasonally between the north and south the camp optimises the chance of witnessing the great wildebeest migration and therefore ensuring fantastic game-viewing at all times.

Olakira is an intimate mobile camp with nine luxury tents. Each tent is comfortably furnished with double or twin beds with adjoining bathroom facilities (including hot safari shower, wash basin and environmentally friendly toilet). Each enjoys its own private veranda with a panoramic views of the Serengeti. Two communal tents are central to the camp and provide a comfortable lounge and dining area, perfect for sharing safari stories with your fellow guests.
Delicious meals and cold drinks are served in the main dinning tent or if a dry and warm evening, then out under the stars. Activities at Olakira Camp focus on game drives but cultural visits and even hot air balloon safaris can also be arranged at an additional cost. Game drives are accompanied by an experienced guide who will uncover the hidden secrets of the Serengeti plains.

Between December and March it is situated on the open southern plains, where the annual migration spreads out to graze on the fresh new grasses. Then from June to November it is located in the north of the park, where it is perfectly positioned to witness the crossing of the Mara River.
