Erawan Waterfall & Phra That Cave
Head to Erawan, one of Thailand's most famous National Parks. Here you can visit the Erawan Waterfall, a picturesque seven-tier cascade, and the Phra That Cave, hidden within the park's limestone hills.
Erawan National Park was founded in 1975. Within the park, you will find lush green forest, limestone hills, and many streams and waterfalls, of which the Erawan Waterfall is the most well-known.
This beautiful waterfall has seven tiers that span over 1.5km. It is possible to walk up to each tier, so please do bring sturdy, non-slip shoes. Should you wish, it is also possible to take a refreshing dip in the pools at the base of some of the cascades, so do remember your swimming gear.
Continue by car, and then take a short walk to the Phra That Cave. Spend some time exploring this large cave, admiring the impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
