The east coast of Thailand has a tropical climate and the best time to visit is from February to September, which is relatively dry but there is some rain every month. February to April are the driest months. October to January are wet with the monsoon coming from the northeast across the Gulf of Thailand.

Bangkok, Thailand
Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant and buzzing capital, where cutting-edge gleaming skyscrapers contrast with ornamental ancient temples and bustling floating markets.
Bangkok is full to the brim with fascinating places waiting to be discovered. A morning tour with a private guide is a great way to ease you into the city’s fast pace whilst also helping you tick off some of the most famous landmarks. Hop onboard a traditional long-tail boat to explore the tangled maze of canals, known as klongs, that wind through the city and are a window into local life. Visit the famous colourful floating markets and watch the vendors jostling their boats along the canals, selling their wares of exotic fruits and spicy snacks. The eye-catching Grand Palace with its dazzling golden temples and sacred Emerald Buddha, is a definite must, as is Wat Pho, home to the iconic 45-meter long reclining Buddha! Why not finish off your day in style at one of the lively roof-top bars or hottest new restaurants in town.
Koh Phangan, Thailand
Your holiday begins as you land in Koh Samui, where you will be met and driven to the pier for your boat directly to Anantara Rasananda. The boat trip across the sea is a wonderful start to your holiday, whisking you past tropical islands and skimming over glittering waves on your way to Koh Phangan.
Koh Phangan is a beautiful and undeveloped island with a picturesque white sandy beach where the Anantara Rasananda is situated. All the suites and villas at the hotel come with private pools and views either onto the tropical gardens or on to the beach. This is a fabulous place to relax and there is also a stunning main pool, restaurant and jungle spa. From the hotel you can also wander down the beach to local cafés and restaurants and you are in a small village with a few shops to explore. The island itself is really undeveloped and beautiful and you can take trips to waterfalls or boat trips to other hidden beaches.

North West Koh Samui, Thailand
From Koh Phangan, you will take the boat back to Koh Samui. This is a much more developed island although the Four Seasons is in a peaceful and very private location. Stay in a stunning villa with your own private pool, all of which also come with stunning ocean views. The hotel also has a striking infinity pool, amazing spa and delicious food in the restaurants as well as a small beach. Water sports and excursions are on offer and from the hotel it is a 10-minute taxi ride to local markets and restaurants. You can also head inland to do a bit of trekking to find some of the beautiful waterfalls which are hidden away amongst the jungle, or simply relax and unwind for five blissful nights until eventually it is time to head home.
