The Beverly Hills Hotel is situated on Sunset Boulevard one of the most prominent streets in Los Angeles. Famous not only for its grand mansions and homes to the stars the area has plenty to offer in the way of galleries, museums, fine restaurants and an exciting nightlife.
Built by Margaret Anderson in 1912 on land developed by Burton Green, the hotel was the first major structure in the area and was named after Green’s home in Beverly Farms, Massachusetts. The surrounding area was later to become the City of Beverly Hills, literally built around the landmark hotel and 100 years on it's one of the most loved hotels of Hollywood's rich and famous. The hotel continues to inspire, even the famed Bungalow 8 nightclub in New York was named after the bungalow suites with interiors replete with palm trees and poolside murals.
Nestled atop 12 acres of gardens the hotel houses 208 rooms and suites and offers the ambience of a city resort with a palm lined pool and public areas reminiscent of timeless Hollywood glamour. Each room and suite offers a variety of unique features such as private garden patios, kitchens, fireplaces, and balconies with gorgeous views of the palm-lined avenues of Beverly Hills.
On the doorstep to some of the world's best shopping, The Beverly Hills Hotel is close to the Golden Triangle, with Rodeo Drive running through the centre and bordered by Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard.
