Fans of nostalgia will love the chance to stay at this historic lodge which has stood on the banks of the Rogue River since 1924. Over the years, the Weaksu Inn has played host to many Hollywood stars including Walt Disney and Clark Gable. Nestled in 10-acres of velvety lawns and towering pines, the grounds invite guests to soak up the tranquillity and beauty of the area. Restored to its former glory, this timbered inn offers personal and homely accommodation, along with delightful and unobtrusive service, based on the Weaksu, We-Ask-You philosophy.

The main lodge has five traditionally furnished rooms. All with fabulous comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, coffee maker, ensuite bathroom with Aveda bath products, robes, and hairdryer. For added comforts choose either the Historic Lodge Room with Balcony or the Historic Lodge Room with Spa Tub. There are also 11 cabins, which include a rock river gas fireplace, mini fridge, and private river-facing deck. Queen River Cabins include a sofa bed and can sleep up to four guests, while the A-Frame Rover Cabin will suit families. This cabin features the original design of traditional river cabins with a loft area, and so has beds both downstairs and in the loft space. King River Cabins enjoy wraparound decks and are designed as a romantic haven for couples or trade up to a King Spa Suite River Cabin to enjoy a Jacuzzi tub. Larger families or groups can also book the River House, which includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen and two oversized decks, sleeping up to six guests.
While there is no restaurant onsite, rates include a daily full hot breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres between 4.30 to 6.30pm and evening indulgences. These include s’mores kits to toast around the campfire usually comprising biscuits, chocolate and marshmallows and a night cap of milk and freshly baked cookies. Along with the glorious grounds, guests can also relax in the Great Room of the main lodge, with its cosy wood-burning fireplace, poker table and games to enjoy.
