Located on a peaceful boulevard in the Hoàn Ki?m quarter of Hanoi, close by to the iconic Hanoi Opera House, Capella Hanoi is perfectly situated for exploring this bustling city and its fascinating history, whilst also offering guests the chance to relax in a more tranquil neighbourhood.

With its close proximity to the opulent Opera House, designer Bill Bensley used this as inspiration for the hotel's concept and design, with each of the 47 rooms and suites uniquely designed to reflect the splendour of the Opera House and the glamour of the 1920s, paying tribute to iconic actors, performances and designers of this bygone era. With individually selected operatic ornaments, history-trapped photographs and hand-painted artworks, no room at Capella Hanoi is alike. For guests wishing for additional space and privacy, the Opera Suites on the top floor each boast an alfresco terrace with spectacular views across the lush greenery of the city.

After a day of exploring one of Vietnam's most vibrant cities, guests are invited to unwind in The Living Room, which is exclusively reserved for hotel guests during the day, before transforming into the Diva's Lounge by night, where handcrafted 1920s cocktails can be supped, and Vietnamese tapas devoured. For a more formal affair, Capella's signature restaurant, The Backstage, offers guests an extensive menu of both International and Vietnamese dishes, catering for all desires. Hidden away downstairs in the hotel is the Teppanyaki Private Counter where guests can feast on the spectacular theatrics of teppanyaki preparation, as well as the tempting dishes themselves.

For those wishing to work up an appetite, the hotel features a well-sized fitness centre. In addition, Capella Hanoi boasts La Grotta, the indoor swimming pool where guests can cool off after a day of sightseeing; as well as the indulgent Auriga Spa with treatment rooms, sauna and steam baths, where stresses are melted away.

It goes without saying that any stay in Hanoi is not complete without exploration of the city itself. One of Capella Culturists will be able to assist you with really getting under the skin of this fascinating city, and its glamourous history and rich cultural heritage.
