  This four-deck ship has 51 well-appointed staterooms carrying up to 102 guests. Smaller entry level staterooms include a panoramic window or French balcony, but it is worth trading up to the more spacious rooms and suites which include a private balcony.   Guests enjoy award-winning cuisine served in the Main Restaurant, with a menu that includes regional specialities and locally sourced produce and ingredients. Meals are included in the cruise price, along with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks served with lunch and dinner. Complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water is available 24/7.   The inviting Main Lounge includes a bar area and ample seating for unwinding and socialising. There is also a Sun Deck with swimming pool and loungers, which is a lovely spot from which to enjoy the passing scenery. The evening entertainment is lowkey centring on piano or musical performances with a Portuguese focus. For those looking to keep fit, there is a well-equipped fitness room, while restorative massages can be booked at the spa.   The Douro Valley is one of Europe’s most unspoilt regions and includes the UNESCO-listed vineyards of the Alto Douro, close to Pinhão, and Regua the ‘capital’ of the region.  Guests can choose from a variety of inclusive excursions and experiences, with the chance to taste the local wines and regional foods.   The AmaDouro sails roundtrip through the Douro Valley from Porto, which is a 2.5-hr flight from London.
