  • Traditional cosy accommodation, ideal for families and couples alike

  • The perfect base from which to immerse yourself in wintry activities

  • Enjoy the comfort of classic Swedish sauna as well as hot tub to warm up after a day in the snow

Surrounded by one of Sweden’s largest wetland areas, the Guesthouse is ideally situated to enjoy plentiful activities and experiences whether you visit in Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. The winter season from December to March is the perfect time to explore the area via snowmobile or with a team of huskies, before cosying up in front of a roaring fire as darkness falls and the elusive northern lights dance above you. Summer offers the chance to hike, fish, cycle, quad bike and swim to your hearts content, with long hours of daylight, the possibilities to explore are endless.

The Guesthouse itself is steeped in history and offers just a handful of eclectic and unique rooms to suit everyone from couples to larger family groups. The accommodation is dotted around a collection of traditional and cosy looking wooden cabins, allowing plenty of privacy.

Meals are served communal style in the delightfully traditional main building, allowing you to mingle over delicious and bountiful home-cooked Swedish fare. Why not end your evening with a whisky in the log cabin bar or, if you are feeling brave, by rolling around in the snow before jumping into the wood fired sauna or hot tub overlooking the Lapland wilderness?
