Corey Weiss
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and have always had a desire to see the world, so entering the hospitality industry was my ticket to do so. My career in this industry has taken me all over the globe and helped me to foster a deep passion for helping other people do the same.
Favorite places I've been
My hot picks
-
Capella Hanoi, Hanoi, Vietnam
The newest luxury hotel in Hanoi that's really giving others a run for their money. It's the over-the-top Art Deco design, generous rooms and impeccable service that do it! -
The Sarojin, Khao Lak, West coast beaches and islands, Thailand
Sitting on a pristine strip of beach in Khao Lak, this expertly-managed boutique hotel creates a world that is very hard to leave, and has an impressive survival story to match! -
Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho, Central Vietnam and Beaches, Vietnam
In line with the Zannier brand, everything about this hotel is intentional. It's stripped-back luxury at its finest and is utterly transporting.
My top tips
-
Don't be turned off by the rainy season (summer) in countries like Thailand or Vietnam. Everything gets a nice cleaning, and there's nothing wrong with watching life go by under the shelter of the closest restaurant with a Bia in hand while it passes.
-
The central coast of Vietnam is highly underrated and makes for a lovely beach break in between bustling Hanoi and Saigon.

Try everything!! It's common for locals here to go to the market 4 or 5 times a day to pick up the freshest ingredients possible.
