  • Indulge in their hands-on Cooking School designed for culinary enthusiasts

  • The property boasts has own 8 acre vineyard producing fine Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz exclusively for guests of the hotel

Renowned as one of the finest lodges in the world, the luxury Cape Lodge has an idyllic position on the edge of a private lake in the middle of 40 acres of vineyard, gardens and natural forest.

The 22 rooms and suites are neutrally decorated in a fresh, elegant style and there is a varied range of accommodation. Garden Rooms have sunny terraces, Superior Spa Suites and Forest Deluxe Spa Suites have wonderful views of the gardens and lake respectively and also feature indulgent spa baths. There is even a freestanding cottage for four with a fully equipped kitchen and, for larger parties, there is the luxury private residence which sleeps ten and has a gourmet kitchen, open plan living area and masses of entertaining space both inside and out.

Cape Lodge's restaurant is in a majestic setting overlooking the main lake and you can dine inside or out, although when the weather is good you will find it hard to resist the huge wooden deck suspended over the water, an idyllic setting for a gourmet breakfast in the sunshine or dinner under the stars with wine hand picked from the extensive cellar.

Although small in size, the Margaret River region produces some of Australia’s finest wines. There is also the spectacular rugged coastline and surf beaches to explore only minutes away and in the winter whales can often be spotted cruising up the coast on their migratory journey. Visit the vineyards surrounding the Lodge for private wine tastings and then enjoy the wonderful gardens with tennis court and swimming pool back at the lodge.
