A day in the life of an Explorer
Situated in the Peloponnese on mainland Greece, Costa Navarino is a fantastic resort for families; not only because it offers numerous accommodation options, superb watersports, activities for all the family and a beautiful beach, but because it also has a renowned Scott Dunn Explorers Kids Club.

Get a little insight into what a typical day would look like for an Explorer.
It has been a busy week for our little ones here in Costa Navarino. The Globetrotters have been having a lot of fun trying out our very own swimming pool here at the Explorers club and have built some of the biggest sandcastles in the outdoor area, we have even built a sandy birthday cake for one of our younger guest’s dad.
The Adventurers and Voyagers have joined forces this week for an action-packed vacation. They have had a golf lesson this morning with one of the resort’s golf pros and spent yesterday afternoon finding fish in the Lagoon swimming pool with the scuba diving instructors!
The Voyagers had a great afternoon learning about the local area in the resort’s interactive museum, Natura Hall. They learned that the resort was designed to have as little impact on the dunes and the sea as possible. The lights of the resort all face away from the sea to prevent sea animals from heading towards them and finding themselves stuck on the beach. There is also a big conservation effort here at Costa Navarino which involves closing the beach in the evenings so that sea turtles feel safe to lay their eggs here in July and August.
The summer has well and truly arrived in Greece and so the temperatures have been reaching 28 degrees most days.
