Sourcing the best locations, Bushman Plains offers some excellent wildlife opportunities as well as being able to experience the nomadic traditions of the Bushman culture. This mobile camp is mobile in the sense that the camp has freedom to choose where it sets up based on where the best wildlife is, rather than moving during a stay. This flexibility allows guests to stay right in the action of the park and to experience some of the best wildlife in the area. The Bushman will take you out to explore the unique ecozystem of the Okavango Delta where you will be able to go out with a knowledgable guide to track, off-road game drive and even head out after dark on an exciting night drive.
With just four guest tents, Bushman Plains Camp is one of the smallest camps in Botswana. Classically designed Meru tents offer comfortable beds with high-quality sheets and duvets, as well as a dressing area with a wardrobe and sink with running water and separate shower and toilet facilities. Although simple, the tents and camp provide complete comfort and a sense of luxury while remaining an authentic in the bush experience.
Main areas of camp maintain comfort with a mess tent with veranda to offer a central space for guests to relax during the afternoons and evenings. In the evenings a campfire is lit, where central to Bushman culture, the events of the day and stories are shared. Chefs work hard to create delicious and hearty meals in a 'bush kitchen' where you will be surprised about what they can bring together in the remote bush.
