Linyanti Concession
With 120,000 hectares of open grasslands, papyrus swamps and marshland, the Linyanti Concession is the only reliable source of water in the region, and as such attracts a rich diversity of game and birdlife. Elephant, zebra, crocodile and the rare sitatunga antelope can be sighted from a 4x4, on walking safaris and gliding along the water in a mokoro (dugout canoe).
The waterways and marshes of Linyanti are a dream for bird watchers, with a wealth of both migratory and resident birds. Night safaris offer a chance to catch sight of aardvark, leopard and civet.
