Little Dix Bay stands on a half mile beach of powder white sand with a backdrop of a forested hillside and a view overlooking turquoise waters and a colourful barrier reef beyond.
The hotel is accessed from Tortola, where you jump on board the hotel’s catamaran and enjoy a 25 minute crossing before arriving at the hotel.
A hotel great for families and couples alike. Naturally most activities are water based so guests can enjoy a wide range of complimentary non-motorised water sports, while younger guests can enjoy activities at Rosebud’s kids club, with an arts and crafts center, sandcastle contests and jewelry making.
For those boat lovers, enjoy the one of the complimentary boat trips to one of the other beaches on the islands and don’t forget to order a picnic if you think you will get peckish.

Centered around a crescent-shaped beach on the island of Virgin Gorda, Little Dix Bay offers complete relaxation and privacy. One of the all time classic Caribbean hotels, walkways twist through lawns that roll down to the sea and in the heart of this setting are the 80 spacious guest rooms. Suites are spacious with gorgeous bathrooms, generous living spaces and tastefully decorated bedrooms. Activities include diving, snorkeling, sailing and the use of tennis courts. There are three restaurants; the open-air Pavilion serves Caribbean food mixed with modern flavors, the Sugar Mill offers a grill menu and the Reef house is just a few steps from the beach and offers simple farm-to-table delights in the open air. There is a Children’s Grove for younger visitors set amongst the shade of a mahogany preserve featuring a miniature Caribbean chattel house, dress-up parlour, arts and crafts center, shipwreck and outside play area. For the adults, there is a fantastic new spa with dramatic views of the British Virgin Islands offering an array of Caribbean specialties using indigenous botanical ingredients.
