Late November to April tends to be the dry season for Central America, with a year-round tropical climate providing warm temperatures and clear skies, there will be pockets of tropical rain showers in the shoulder seasons but if you’re happy to take an umbrella you will experience fewer crowds at the top attractions. Humidity tends to rise during late-April and May, where the tropical landscape can reach temperature in the triple digits. There are of course regional variations, with Costa Rica being drier through May to September.
