Linfen
Located in southwest Shanxi province, Linfen sits on the banks of the Fen River, one of the main tributaries of the famous Yellow River. A large industrial city, Linfen is the gateway to the majestic Hukou Waterfall, the second largest waterfall in China and the largest yellow waterfall in the world.
Once the seat of the great Emperor Yao, Linfen was a cradle of ancient Chinese civilization. Today, this bustling center of industry is a base from which to explore the majestic thundering yellow Hukou Waterfall that sits on the border between Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces.
