The Wilderness Hotel Nangu is an intimate, boutique hotel featuring just 24 cozy log rooms with large windows enabling you to gaze upon the snowy Lapland wilderness from the warmth of your room. Situated in a picturesque, remote location to the far North of Finland, next to Lake Inari, the chances of spotting the elusive Northern Lights are favourable here and the hotel can arrange a number of excursions to set out in search of this natural wonder. We recommend taking a seat in a comfortable sled, pulled by a snowmobile, which will take you out to a stunning remote camping spot where you’ll savor a delicious hot drink next to the roaring campfire and gaze upon the sky above.
As Nangu is an adults-only property, it is the perfect adult’s playground where you can try out snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing and truly let your inner child loose as you enjoy the snowy wilderness. This would also make a great option for a romantic break as the cozy log cabins provide a wonderful intimate setting to retire to at the end of the day.
The restaurant here is absolutely stunning with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views for you to gaze upon as you sample the daily-changing menu of with dinners served a la carte every evening.
