This Relais & Châteaux hotel sits in 62 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and parkland and is well-located for exploring the delights of Normandy. The ideal hideaway to escape the world, the château was originally built in the 11th century for William the Conqueror. Redesigned as a grand estate in 1715, today the property is listed as a Historic Monument, thoughtfully refurbished to celebrate its history and traditions.
The sympathetic blend of historic grandeur and contemporary comforts imbues the château with a sense of serenity which is both soothing and restorative. The wonderfully proportioned salons, grandiose windows, and elegant antique furniture, decorated in calming blues and ambers, achieve the perfect balance of tradition and modern convenience.
