Designed to resemble a typical Caribbean village, no building is taller than a palm tree on this sprawling headland site on Grenada’s southern coast. On one side are the gentle sands and island breezes of La Sagesse Beach, while the other side is home to the dramatic cliffs and high rollers of Lance Pere Beach. Set around a lagoon, the resort is laced with pretty garden walkways linking the accommodation, spa, and communal spaces.

Guests can choose from 56 Pool Suites, and 15 one-, two- and four-bedroom villas. All include private pools and generous terraces. Designed for indoor/outdoor living, with contemporary interiors, use of natural materials and a neutral palette, guests can choose from a beach, resort, or clifftop location. Panquai offers poolside dining by day and local rums and cocktails by night, along with traditional churrasco-style cooking, involving roasting meat on long skewers over flickering flames.
