Fly to Reykjavik
Day 1-3

Reykjavik, Iceland

Begin your Icelandic adventure in style – on arrival you'll be picked up from the airport and taken to one of the country's most iconic spots, the Blue Lagoon. Here you can completely unwind after your flight and enjoy the restorative properties of silica mud masks in the bright blue geothermally-heated waters. Bathe in the stunning heated lagoon and absorb your beautiful surroundings, letting the stress of life ebb away.

Feeling completely rejuvenated, continue on to Reykjavik, Iceland’s picturesque capital city. Here you will be staying at the stylish Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of the city center. Perfect to explore Reykjavik’s colourful streets, home to charming boutiques, lively bars and fine-dining restaurants.

Accommodation: Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel ( 2 nights )
Day 3-4

Southern Iceland

The following morning, your adventure continues as you are driven west towards the beautiful Hvalfjördur and the remote Snaefellsnes peninsula. Be amazed by the breathtaking scenery on the way, and you'll have the option to stop and admire some of Iceland's famous geological formations. Hike up to Glýmur, Iceland's highest waterfall, peer over the edge of the unique Eldborg crater, or head to the beach to spot seals swimming nearby. Once you've reached Snaefellsnes it's time to jump in the saddle for a riding lesson on Icelandic horses, known for their unique trot.

Your first evening on the Snaefellsnes peninsula is spent at the quaint boutique Hotel Budir, boasting a dramatic setting on a lava field overlooking the sea, the hotel enjoys one of the most beautiful outlooks in this little explored region of Iceland. The cozy rooms and excellent food provide the perfect tonic this evening, and you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery under the Midnight Sun.
Accommodation: Hotel Budir ( 1 night )
Day 4-6

Southern Iceland

The next day, you’ll continue your exploration of the fascinating Snaefellsnes Peninsula, spending two nights at Hotel Egilsen, an incredibly charming guesthouse with first class hospitality in the small fishing village of Stykkishólmur on the northern coast of the peninsula. With only ten guest rooms the hotel is small and intimate, with a simple yet stylish design, excellent food and a very warm welcome.

With your private guide you'll wonder at the basalt cliffs, canyons and holes on Arnarstapi beach before taking in the wonderful scenery at Djúpalónssandur and Dritvík black sand beaches, where shipwrecks are still scattered along the coast. Pay a visit to picturesque fishing villages and admire the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, then head out onto the water in search of whales. With a professional guide keep your eyes peeled for whales as they breach just meters from your boat. This area is one of the best locations to spot sperm whales and orcas in Iceland, as well as white-beaked dolphins and harbor porpoises. The following day, hop on the ferry to charming Flatey Island, one of Iceland's western islands in Breidafjördur Bay. A very characterful Icelandic village, Flatey is home to just a handful of inhabitants, but an abundance of birdlife, making for a great location to spot Arctic terns. A wonder for hiking and soaking up the fascinating birdlife and culture as you wander through the village and enjoy the scenery before returning to the mainland and devour the homely delicious cuisine back at Hotel Egilsen.
Accommodation: Hotel Egilsen ( 2 nights )
Day 6-7

Storarjodur, Western Iceland

Continue onto the huge Langjokull glacier, where you'll descend through bright blue ice caves in a truly unique adventure to the depths of the glacier, a truly mesmerizing experience and one not to be missed.

Spend a night at the contemporary retreat, Hotel Husafell. Surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty in the heart of the Icelandic wilderness, this is the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking area and boasts its own geothermal baths - a traditional Icelandic pastime and the ideal way to unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. You will then head south taking time to explore the Vidgelmir lava tube and view its fascinating rock formations. You'll learn about how the cave was formed and its fascinating history dating back over a thousand years.
