Ubud
Encircled by lush terraces of paddy fields and waving palms, Ubud is a colorfully creative hub at the heart of Bali. Far removed form the buzzing nightlife and beaches of the coast, Ubud is a busy town but wander just a few streets back from the main center and you’re in a tranquil oasis of tropical foliage, traditional Balinese homes and sweet little cafes.

Home to a surprisingly large selection of world-class restaurants, Ubud has a thriving dining scene, with many boasting soul-restoring views over the rice fields and verdant hills beyond.
