Guests are greeted by kimono-wearing staff with a welcoming cup of matcha tea during the check-in process. This accommodating service sets the tone for your stay, with staff more than happy to help you with any requests or advice.   With just 16 rooms, the vibe is intimate. Each room has a private balcony with stone onsen hot spring bath, along with comfortable Western beds, en-suite rainfall shower bathrooms, fridge, yukata (Japanese-style kimono robes) and electric incense burner. Upgrade for spacious living rooms and private gardens.   Japanese breakfast, along with kaiseki multicourse dining is served in your room, with cuisine created from the best seasonal produce available. Food is cooked using natural water sourced from deep below the town, which draws out the sweetness and rich flavors of the ingredients. Dishes are served alongside Japanese sake to further enhance the flavors.   Along with their in-room private onsen, guests can also access both indoor and outdoor communal natural hot spring baths, both of which have been designed to take advantage of the gardens and mountain views. There is also a spa offering specialist massage and facial treatments.
