Shanti Maurice is a magical resort set on the south coast with lush tropical gardens providing a beautiful backdrop. Water features, lawns and a small indigenous forest filled with exotic birds make this place truly special. The stunning white sand beach can be viewed from all suites and villas. Coral reefs circle the sand and clusters of black volcanic rock create pools as the tide goes out. The beach is always tranquil, since only non-motorised water sports, such as windsurfing, sailing, pedal boats, snorkeling and kayaking are on offer. Activities such as waterskiing, fishing and scuba diving can be arranged further afield.

The 61 spacious suites and villas at Shanti Maurice are all ocean facing and are among the most generously proportioned in Mauritius. The villas all have private pools and are surrounded by exotic private gardens, terraces and courtyards. The culinary experience at Shanti Maurice is an unforgettable mix of local and international cuisine. Fresh from the ocean, the garden or nearby farms, the chefs offer local produce and imaginative choices. Cape-inspired dining at the Fish Shack, or simple, healthy fare from the wellness cuisine menu, there is something to inspire every palate. Covering 81m², the Junior Suites are among the most generously proportioned in Mauritius. The Ocean Front suites are located on the first floor with large balconies overlooking the Indian Ocean. The large bedroom has a king size or twin beds and can accommodate 2 extra twin beds. As well as large bedrooms and bathrooms, each Junior Suite has a separate dressing room with an open closet and dressing table.
