Weather-wise, the best times to go are spring and autumn. Marrakech is very hot in the summer months of July and August, a dry but extremely relentless heat. By the end of October the evenings are cold, although the midday sun is still warm enough to bask in. The weather in winter, from November to March, ranges from cold and rainy to sunny days, warm enough to sit outside.

Marrakech Palmeraie, Morocco
For your first three nights you’ll have the charming Dar Zemora as your base, located just a stone’s throw away from the dazzling city of Marrakech. A boutique hotel oozing Moroccan character with modern touches, spacious gardens and with some of the city’s best bars and restaurants not too far away, this is the place to be.
Delve into the eclectic flair of the city on a thrilling private side car experience. Whiz through the winding streets with your expert guide and expose popular city highlights embedded among beautiful artisan buildings as well as unveiling some of the Medina’s best-kept secrets. Tantalise your tastebuds on a private street food tasting tour through the culinary delights of Marrakech. Follow your local food expert as you visit pulsating shops and stalls, try local produce, fragrant spices and distinctive heritage dishes such as the infamous warm fragrant pastries and zingy olives. In the evenings, head into the city center and allow us to book you a table at one of the many trendy bars or restaurants.

Agafay Desert, Morocco
Wilderness awaits. Leaving the bustle of city life behind you, you’ll be driven one hour southwest to the barren landscape of the Agafay Desert. Tucked away between the snow-capped crags of the Atlas Mountains and bustling boulevards of Marrakech, the Agafay Desert offers a taste of the Moroccan desert experience without the extensive driving that the Sahara requires. Your home for the next two nights is Inara Tented Camp — a secluded Moroccan camp with a luxurious simplicity about it. Dive into the wide-open surroundings and explore the soul-stirring vistas on an exhilarating quad biking adventure. Traverse the volcanic terrain and natural palm groves at high speeds, zoom past arid riverbeds and pitstop for epic photographs along the way.
Marvel at the unique landscape. Indulge in a traditional picnic lunch and witness the sunset as you make your way back to camp after an elating day of journeying across the rugged desert.

From the barren landscape of the Agafay Desert to the snowcapped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, your next stop won’t disappoint. Perched on the hilltop at the summit of the Ourika Valley as if straight out of a fairy-tale, Kasbah Bab Ourika is where you’ll spend your final three nights. This authentic mountain retreat boasts unrivaled views, seamless service, stylish decor and amazing cuisine while remaining one of the most eco-friendly hotels in Morocco. The property itself is constructed by the traditional Berber building technique using rammed earth. All water is recycled, a biodigester system produces electricity and solar panels provide hot water for the hotel and the under-floor heating.
Unwind by the pool and soak up the views overlooking the river, verdant grasslands and groves of olives and lemons nestled beneath the snowy alpine peaks. Tantalise your tastebuds with fragrant dishes cooked and prepared by specialized chefs using locally sourced ingredients. Discover how the locals make traditional Berber tea in the onsite herb garden and lose yourself in the tranquillity of the spa.
The hotel’s passion for food and produce has to be one of the biggest draws here, so we will arrange a private Berber cooking class for you to take part in. Explore boundless herb and vegetable gardens with expert chefs, discover the ingredients used in Moroccan cooking and learn simple techniques used in traditional recipes before whipping up a two-course meal which you can tuck in to after.
