The Yeatman is situated on the south side of the river Douro, surrounded by the cellars of the most famous port wine producers of the city. Its hillside location means that all its rooms, the gardens, and the restaurant share a charming view of the historic center of the city.
The outdoor infinity pool is truly unique - in the shape of a wine bottle, it offers views of the city not only from the surface, but also from underwater portholes. Large and well tended gardens surround the property, and the hotel is also home to central Porto's only perfectly manicured croquet lawn!
The cellars of The Yeatman house one of the most comprehensive collections of Portuguese wines in the country. The hotel has established partnerships with many of Portugal's finest producers who actively participate in a program of tasting's, seminars and wine dinners. These partner wineries also sponsor individual rooms and suites, providing pictures and objects from their vineyards in different parts of the country in each guest room.
