Laze by the pool overlooking the sandy shores of blissful Balapitiya, one of Sri Lanka's quieter coastal towns. A small fishing village, the area is flanked by beautiful golden beaches. Kumu Beach sits on a lovely stretch looking out to the Indian Ocean. Although the beach is not swimmable, you are just a short distance from Ambalangoda, a great spot for surfing and swimming.
