Fly to Stockholm
Day 1-3

Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm is the epiphany of style and sophistication.  The Grand Hotel just reinforces this fact, with its impeccable service, beautiful décor, incredible food and world class spa; it is the go-to hotel and has become something on an institution.  With a stunning riverside location, the Harbor view rooms are equipped with their own sets of binoculars, so you can sit back and soak up the vista.

You will find a city steeped in history, from cobblestone streets to gothic churches.  Take time to trawl the range of designer boutiques before sipping coffee in one of the many chic cafes.  Spend a day exploring this gothic city with an exclusive private tour where you will be transported through a world of brightly colored buildings that line the waterfronts with Cathedrals spotted boldly in the distance. Visit city districts such as Södermalm, Kungsholmen and Djurgården, all boasting mesmerizing buildings and intervals of luscious green landscapes. Famous sights including the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings and the Cathedral will be sure to leave a lasting impression as you continue your tour through the enchanting streets of Stockholm.

Day 3-5

Swedish Lapland, Sweden

It is time to chase the Northern Lights and step into serenity as you enter the ultimate wilderness of Lapland.  Surrounded by snowy landscapes you will be staying at Arctic Retreat, a truly exclusive and personalized escape. Each of the three cabins boast cozy log burners, floor-to-ceiling windows and private hot tubs, from where you can relax and soak up the incredible views of the Lappish wilderness.  Although it would be easy to stay by the fire and simply marvel at the view all day, it would be a shame not to experience everything this breath-taking area has to offer. In winter this includes husky sledding, snowshoe walks, hiking, snowmobiling, ice fishing and Nordic skiing.

Don your thermals and head out on the epic husky sled tour, a thrilling way to explore the frozen wilderness, with the help of these endearing dogs.  Witnessing the Northern Lights is a mesmerizing experience, why not take it up a notch and try to capture this natural spectacle?  Using your own camera equipment our professional photographer will guide you on the techniques and enlighten you on the skills of capturing the illuminating skies, so that if you are lucky to spot this rare occurrence, you’ll come away with images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Day 5-8

Harads, Swedish Lapland

Leaping from the Arctic Retreat to the enviable location of Loggers Lodge, hidden deep in the heart of Swedish Lapland, other than your private guide's house, there are no other buildings within 5 kilometers of the cabin, ensuring an exclusive stay in a luxury hideaway.  You will be looked after by your private guide, as well as your personal chef, who will introduce you to traditional food using organic and local ingredients.  Hunker down in the lodge that is just for you, hide from the world and indulge in peace around you.

Learn about the traditional Sami culture, unique to the Arctic regions of Sweden, Norway and Finland. Lars Eriksson's family goes back seven generations and he still lives the traditional lifestyle alongside his reindeer.
