Ubuntu Camp

Ubuntu Camp is a small, seasonal camp, located in the Serengeti National Park. It moves seasonally to optimize the chance of witnessing the great wildebeest migration and therefore ensuring fantastic game-viewing at all times.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
  • Witness the great wildebeest migration

  • Staff are extremely friendly and helpful

  • Intimate camp with just six tents

  • Communal dining area and lounge

Ubuntu Camp, with only six tents ensures an intimate and private experience in one of the world's most famous National Parks. The camp moves twice a year, in order to be as close to the Great Wildebeest Migration as possible, and being so small means its impact on the environment is minimal.

Each tent is en-suite, with flush loos, running water and safari bucket showers. The tents are prepared as twins or doubles yet can be made into triples if needed. The main camp areas are made up of a living area and dining mess tent, where guests gather together over drinks and dinner in a relaxed, social environment. The food and service are very good and you will really feel like you have experienced an authentic East African Safari by staying here.

The camp is located in the Northern Serengeti from late July to October, and the Southern Serengeti in the Kusini region from December to March in order to witness the migration as it moves on its annual circuit.
