Spice Bazaar Suleymaniye Mosque

Visiting Suleymaniye Mosque, Istanbul's most important mosque and one of the great masterpieces of the Ottoman architect Sinan.Continue on to the Spice Bazaar (or Egyptian Bazaar), one of the oldest bazaars in the city and the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. The bazaar was (and still is) the center for spice trade in Istanbul. The building itself is part of the külliye of Yeni Mosque, and rents from the shops within were intended to help pay for the upkeep of the mosque.
