Bhaya Classic is the first member of the Bhaya fleet, specializing in continuous cruises around the more far-flung areas of the spectacular Halong Bay. First launched in 2007, and refurbished in 2015, Bhaya Classic is a seamless combination of traditional oriental style, and modern facilities.
Each Bhaya Classic boat has between 15 and 20 cabins, making them relatively small, while still providing a warm and sociable atmosphere on board. The rooms are mostly deluxe cabins, with large windows to take in the astonishing views. At the bow of the boat there are two suites which have private forward facing outdoor terraces. The rooms are traditionally decorated in a combination of oriental and modern styles, with subtle shades of green and brown echoing the magnificent scenery outside.
Facilities on board Bhaya Classic include a dining room serving traditional Vietnamese fare that is carefully chosen to incorporate the five flavors of Vietnamese cuisine- spicy, sour, salty, bitter and sweet. Guests will enjoy learning from the specialty chefs about the use of these flavors to create healthy and delicious local meals. The Topside Bar is the perfect place to relax with a cool drink in hand after a long day of sightseeing and is the perfect space to meet and mingle with fellow guests.
Activities are varied and can change depending on season and itinerary length, but guests on Bhaya Classic can explore Halong, Bai Tu Long and Lan Ha Bays, as well as Cat Ba island, a variety of the area’s most famous caves and islands and take a kayak through traditional floating villages and fishing communities. Tai Chi, squid fishing, a fun MasterChef competition and spa treatments are all available on board.
