The Seabourn Pursuit, along with sister ship, Seabourn Venture, has been built to explore all seven continents. Featuring cutting edge technology and modern hardware, as well as a PC6 Polar Class rating, the Seabourn Pursuit is one of the safest and most environmentally friendly vessels sailing the oceans. To enhance the experience, the ship features a 24-strong world-renowned Expedition Team, all eager to share their knowledge in helping guests to discover the endlessly fascinating wildlife, culture and landscapes encountered along the way. There is also a fleet of 24 Zodiac boats, able to carry all guests at the same time if required, 24 double kayaks and two custom-built six-person submarines. While this makes the ship ideal for expedition sailings, guests can also expect the same onboard opulence and luxury synonymous with the Seabourn brand.
The Seabourn Pursuit has 264 ocean-facing suites, all with private balconies, floor to ceiling windows, living area, bathroom with shower and bathtub, fully stocked bar, dining area, interactive TV, and Wi-Fi. For a separate bedroom, book a Penthouse or Owner’s Suite. The onboard cuisine is world-class, and guests can choose to dine at several venues when and with whom they wish. These include the Restaurant, the Colonnade, and the Club, as well as ordering in-room dining whenever required. The interiors emulate the style of a luxe lodge with fur throws, faux fireplaces and rich textures making the shared spaces intimate and cozy. The service is exceptional, both discreet and attentive and the ambience is warm and personal.
Guests can relax in one of several lounge areas, but the focus of the ship is Seabourn Square which features a lounge, terrace, library, and snack bar, while the Discovery Center is used for briefings and presentations. There is also an infinity pool and several hot tubs out on the deck, or for indulgent pampering, head to the Spa & Wellness Center. The Expedition Experiences are optional. Led by the 24-strong experienced Expedition Guides, adventures include Zodiac sightseeing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and exploring deep into the ocean on one of two custom-built submarines. There are also many Signature Events to enjoy including the Polar Plunge and Caviar on Ice. Seabourn claim the overall experience is akin to a ‘Safari at Sea,’ with the ship as base camp, the guides as expedition leaders and the 4 x 4, either a kayak, Zodiac or submarine.
