Customized to your interests, days are yours to spend as you choose. There is good choice of different things to do, allowing you to make the most out of your safari. Guides have vast knowledge of the area and the wildlife and are actively involved in conservation efforts in Kafue.
The camp is very small and rustic, but offers exclusivity while it can accommodate just six guests. The Meru walk-in tents are airy, each with a private en-suite. Meals are of a high standard and mostly enjoyed al fresco or in the shade of a small boma.
Offering some of the most varied wildlife, this safari will take you on a journey to explore various habitats such as the Miombo woodlands, the seasonal oxbow lagoons, as well as the clear waters of the Kafue River and its tributaries. Kafue's wildlife on offer is diverse and you could encounter rare species such as roan, sable, hartebeest, puku, oribi, red lechwe and the diminutive blue duiker, to name a few. A healthy population of lion are spread across Kafue, as well as several leopards and cheetahs, and although wild dogs are hard to spot, they remain in good numbers.
