Kafue National Park
Located in the lesser visited western region of Zambia, Kafue National Park is the largest park in Zambia, and the second largest in Africa. Terrain ranges from verdant riverine forest fringing the Kafue River to the vast and boundless grasslands of the Busanga Plains.
Rewarding wildlife viewing includes various carnivores such as lions, leopards and even cheetah in the northern reaches of the park who make use of the vast grasslands to hunt their prey. Other animals include antelope species such as puku, lechwe as well as hyena, wild dog and a healthy population of elephants.
