Khulu Bush camp is situated in a private concession bordering the well known wildlife rich Hwange National Park. This intimate camp is smaller than its nearby sister camp, Ivory Lodge, but retains the high levels of service in a true wilderness setting.
The beauty of this camp is the combination of luxurious contemporary design mixed with old world hospitality. The name of this camp is actually taken from the affectionate title give to one of the directors of the property, meaning 'grand father' and the old world feel reflects this.
Khulu Bush Camp boasts just six thatched safari suites built onto platforms which cause minimal impact to the environment and the camps' surroundings. Each of these contemporary suites has an indoor and outdoor shower and balcony for game viewing as well as an individual tea and coffee service. The honeymoon suite has an additional outdoor bath and swinging pod chair for a truly romantic experience in the African Bush. The camp has a total capacity of only 12 people.
Enjoy your wilderness experience on twice daily game drives and fascinating bush walks or perhaps explore the local culture on guided community visits.
