The camp borders the Moremi Game reserve on the south eastern side of the Okavango Delta, an area known for its rich and diverse wildlife. This area offers a varied habitat when the rainy season is in full flow, causing the plains to flood.
Rra Dinare is made up of eight classic tented rooms overlooking the Gomoti River floodplains. A swimming pool is available for those wishing to relax after a day exploring, as well as a curio shop available for those looking to take home a piece of Botswana. Each tent has its own private lounge area as well as a veranda to enjoy the floodplains.
The area is most famous for its lion, wild dog and buffalo and the camp offers a variety of activities such as day and night game drives, taking you on and off road, to spot these incredible animals. Night safari drives also allow the opportunity to spot some more elusive nocturnal animals such as aardvark, leopard, porcupine and pangolin. Seasonal mokoro trips along the river are also offered, a must do when the water is high enough. With numerous river channels, lush riverine forests and wide open plains this area offers a truly unique safari experience.
